SHENELLE & NIHAAD

Shenelle was a vision throughout all three days of her and Nihaad's destination wedding. Each event—the Mehendi, Nikha, and reception—incorporated elements of modernity, Mughal grandeur, and romance, paying homage to Nihaad's Pakistani heritage. Their wedding was a beautiful testament to the harmonious blending of cultures.
The Mehendi ceremony embraced soft peaches with hints of ivory and olive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Brass and terracotta vases adorned with minimalistic floral arrangements and tropical greens, along with candles, greeted guests at the entrance. The incorporation of floral patterns from the invitations into the ceiling design added a sense of cohesion to the ceremony space.
On the day of the Nikha, Shenelle radiated elegance in a stunning white and gold ensemble, mirroring the color palette of the celebration. The muted tones and intricate mosaic patterns infused the event with a simple yet graceful charm, highlighting the beauty found in simplicity. Small brass pots filled with white roses and tall white candles rested on tables covered in white and gold mosaic-patterned cloths, further enhancing the venue's ambiance.
Throughout each event, the rich tapestry of their love and cultural heritage was delicately woven together with a kaleidoscope of colors and traditions.
At the reception, also known as the walima, a rich palette of burgundy red, dark green, and a hint of mustard set the tone for the evening. Shenelle, resplendent in her burgundy lehenga, exuded elegance and grace as she celebrated with Nihaad and their loved ones. Colorful flowers, including posies and lilies, adorned the table settings, introducing pops of mustard amidst the dark green and burgundy red accents. Brass candle holders added a touch of warmth and sophistication to the ambiance, casting a soft glow over the festivities. Tall tropical greenery, accented with hints of red heliconia, hung gracefully from the ceiling, creating an enchanting atmosphere that enveloped the reception hall. Surrounded by ivory and red draped curtains, Shenelle and Nihaad's reception was a captivating blend of opulence and romance.

In the heart of Colombo, amid the tranquil embrace of nature, Varunika and Harijith celebrated their marriage in a gathering that epitomized elegance and tradition. Set against a backdrop of lush greenery, the ambiance was ethereal, illuminated by the soft glow of countless candles that cast a warm and romantic hue.

The décor exuded an understated sophistication, with a palette of warm tones weaving seamlessly with accents of white roses, orchids, and touches of celosia yellow and snapdragon. While embracing a hint of happy yellows and greens, each floral arrangement was meticulously crafted, from delicate posies adorning tables to grand centerpieces that served as focal points of beauty and grace.

Dilkashanee and Nadishka's wedding effortlessly combined contemporary and traditional elements, reflecting their unique style and personalities. The venue was adorned with a cluster of topiaries as centerpieces on round tables, creating a striking focal point. The floral arrangements were displayed in ceramic vases at varying levels, adding dimension to the decor. Green and white floral arrangements in baskets added a charming touch to the overall ambiance. Each table was adorned with posies of white and green florals, interspersed with topiaries and candles, creating a romantic and inviting atmosphere. Every detail was meticulously planned, creating a seamless and harmonious celebration filled with love, joy, and cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Mitali and Fabian’’s celebration was one that challenged us keep things unique and perfectly curated while keeping in mind the couple themselves. Our bride, being a creative herself, gave us a simple clear brief and trusted us in our execution. She threw in elements of every possible thing she liked and allowed us to weave them in to a setting that was completely original. Her little idea to use some simple brushstrokes evolved in to a complete theme of earthy colours and a sharp contrast of charcoal grey.
Dried leaves but no pampas grass, wild greens but no tropical leaves, the list continues… weaving them all in did take us some time, but the outcome was a whimsically delicate setting that took everyone’s break away. It spoke the perfect language of understated elegance.
